We are so excited to hold a one day Breadtensive on Saturday May 25th! Breadtensive is a company intensive taught by Dana Metz Co company members as well as guest artists. Classes will include Contemporary, Improv, Floor Work, Modern & Phrase work. These intensives include smaller class sizes that allow each teacher to get to know each dancer and provide individual feedback throughout all of the classes.

Levels

Int/Adv. (10-13yrs)

Includes 2 classes

One class with the Metz Sisters and one class with a guest teacher

*Dancers ages 14-16 that prefer to take classes with younger dancers

or work at a slower pace are welcome to take this level

Pre-Professional/Professional (Ages 14+)

Includes 4 classes

One class with the Metz Sisters and three classes with guest teachers

Adv Dancers ages 13

We will be allowing advanced dancers that are 13 years old to submit a video to attend the Pre-professional/Professional level. The video must include 1 min of contemporary movement, this video can include improv, a contemporary solo or a contemporary class combo. You must also include a 30 second video or 4 eight counts of technique. This can include ballet, barre or center work, Jazz technique, or a modern combo. We are looking for dancers with mature movement quality and strong technical background. Videos need to be uploaded to Vimeo, Youtube or can be put on google drive. If using Vimeo or Youtube please combine contemporary and technique into one video. Videos can be sent to Breadtensive@gmail.com. Please do not pay for the workshop until you hear back from us.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for your video to be viewed by the faculty.

Pre-Pro/Professional - $125

18+ Discount - $80

*This discount is offered to any dancer that is currently ages 18 and up

Drop In classes

Full schedule and drop in class registration will be released in May.

Class sizes will be limited to 30 dancers per class.

Class availability will be prioritized for dancers attending the full workshop.

Financial Aid

We give out financial aid and full scholarships to a handful of dancers. If you are in need to financial help please reach out to us by sending an email to Breadtensive@gmail.com. Financial aid will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis.
